The tournament dates back to 1897 and has been played at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, on the hillside above the Mediterranean, since 1928. Rafael Nadal won it a record eleven times, including eight in a row from 2005 to 2012.
Play on Court Rainier III is scheduled to start at 11:00. Times are provisional; the order of play for each day is published the evening before.

By train: Monaco–Monte-Carlo station is the nearest stop; from there take a local bus or taxi to the club.
By air: Nice Côte d'Azur airport is about 30 km away, with buses, taxis and helicopter transfers to Monaco.
Parking near the club is limited during the tournament, so public transport or a taxi is recommended.
Each spectator needs their own ticket. Bags are checked at the entrance. Mobile phones must be silent and flash photography is not allowed during play.
